Ask most students and they’ll all agree, one of the most unique aspects of Southern Miss is how it feels like home. We want to pass on that feeling of acceptance and comfort to the families of each and every one of our students. While we encourage students to immerse themselves in campus life, we realize that parents are still a vital part of our students’ development as individuals. Parents are encouraged to get involved and help with the adjustment to college life, and can rest assured that their children are in a safe, friendly environment at Southern Miss.
